Good day, this is Michael De Rosa and I am in Isaiah 1:21-23.  I will only read v. 21, though.

How the faithful city has become a harlot,
She who was full of justice!
Righteousness once lodged in her,
But now murderers.

Let me ask you a question, why would God —who loved Israel so much, even calling her My Chosen People— speak out against her like this.  He does not mince words about her waywardness!

To be honest, I think we have trouble today understanding how a loving God would be so  judgmental.

Yet, each one of us is given the opportunity to reconcile this, and I urge you to  examine the Biblical record carefully because the evidence of who God is demands a verdict from us.

In closing, let me offer a different perspective on God’s judgments:

God loves us so much that He will go to any length to make to make this known.  Thus He will call out our waywardness to contrast it to the abundant life He has for us.
