Good day, this is Michael De Rosa and I am in Isaiah 1:18 which reads:

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson.

Here is Isaiah, we read how sin had left an indelible mark on God’s people.  And today the same is true for us.  Just consider how some people entice us to accept a psuedo-peace:  for example—when we are faced with God’s Truth on our moral standards we become uncomfortable angry, confused, defensive.

Yet, isn’t it interesting that we are more inclined to  vehemently defend our morality before others, but not before

Now listen to this:   here in this Scripture we read of God graciously calling His people -all or us!-to Himself to settle the matter of how our lives are taken a sharp detour from His plan for us.

We are given the opportunity to begin knowing the depth of God’s care for us as we recognize how our efforts to live life outside of God’s redemptive love has been futile.

What do we have to loose…but our sin.
