I am in the final chapter of Acts, chapter 28
Here, again, we can marvel at the great things God did through the apostle Paul…and, hopefully, it will whet your appetite for God to work through our lives more and more
Friend, God’s message is timeless. The Good News of Salvation from the weight of broken relationships, political folly, confusion over our identities, being offended, seeking vengeance for wrongs, hatred towards various groups, superiority complexes, prideful stances, unwillingness to yield to another’s need are all rooted in evil, and can only be redeemed through the power of the Gospel.
Now, this book of Acts starts out with the reminder that Jesus told his disciples to wait until they receive the Holy Spirit; and it ends in Paul’s powerful proclamation of the Gospel.
Friend, just consider what God will do through our lives if we start each day by waiting in His presence, and then end each day with a recognition that throughout the day -in thought, word, and deed- we witnessed to the Gospel Message of full Redemption.
