Good day, this is Michael De Rosa, and we will be looking at Isaiah 55:3
“Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that you may live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
We all need mercy, friends. The best life out there is truly a train wreck when we realize how far we have come short in treating others and ourselves with love.
And the good news is that God has made an eternal covenant for us filled with the very mercy we need!
Now, His mercies are shown to us and received by us when we become aware of the train wreck our lives are in; for instance, God’s word is quite clear of the destruction that David’s sin caused; and it is equally clear of his finding God’s mercy.
While we can may never be able to decide on the consequences that our sinful actions will bring us, we can decide on the action we choose to take today to live the best life possible.
So, If Covid 19 teaches us one thing it is this: we are not guaranteed tomorrow. And so, I urge you, friend, let God have your life.
