Good day, this is Michael De Rosa, and I will be looking at Isaiah 55:5:
Behold, you will call a nation you do not know,
And a nation which knows you not will run to you,
Because of the Lord your God, even the Holy One of Israel;
For He has glorified you.”
It is not uncommon for prophecies, like this, to have more than one application. Namely, while this verse applies to our Lord Jesus, it also points to Israel and, I believe, also to today’s Christian
Friend, God pulls out all the stops when it comes to displaying His glory because He wants us to know Him. And this type of knowledge gives us peace regardless of our situation. And who would not want to run to that.
So let me share my thoughts on what glory is: it is the presence of his hallowed beauty and this can be witnessed through our lives as we articulate to others who God is as He declares Himself to be in the Word He gave us.
Coming to that place of where God can and will work through you is a blessed life time pursuit
