Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.
You and I need to be willingly participating with God as we live each day. While we must say NO to sin, we need to, equally, be proactive by way of allowing Holy Spirit to renew our minds
Now, this does not mean that we ourselves make plans on how to be more spiritually minded throughout the day for we simply can not perfect in our flesh what God has birthed in us by his Spirit.
Rather, welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life each day to discern how He, God, Himself, is rebuilding your mind
Now, this can either be extremely scary or exhilaratingly freeing in that we have a choice to either grieve the Holy Spirit by turning away from His counsel or embrace His presence and the freedom He brings into every situation.
So, let’s encourage each other every day to day Yes to God
