Psalm 37:11
But the humble will inherit the land
And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.
Having humility without Christ in your life is akin to trying to nail jello to the wall…
…because, only Christ can give us the inner strength to think less of ourselves as society is continually wooing them towards self fulfillment.
You see, without Christ, we are bent towards self preservation. Simply put, we are inclined to dislike not looking like we have it together.
BUT, the humble will inherit the land.
those who are unashamed to show their frailty because they have no fear of others because they utterly depend on God humanity ,
those who have learned that the secret to success is found in contentment in Christ alone
These individuals will inherit the land because their hands are open to receive this blessing. For, instead of hanging on to dignity, or status, or responsibilities, or friends or finances or dreams, they have opened themselves to Christ’s call, leaving everything else behind.
Such individuals will not just prosper, but they will abundantly prosper
