Psalm 37:12:
The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes at him with his teeth.
My dear friend, wickedness is relentlessly obsessed in wreaking havoc against the righteous, for its aim is to steal the Christians hope, kill his joy, and ultimately destroy his faith.
I urge you not to think that God puts our life on hold during times of trouble, to somehow leave us to stumble through the difficulties until we figure it all out and then get back into living out of Christian faith.
Rather, what Evil has designed for our demise, God uses to shape out the Christian character of Christ in us.
Do not get caught in the trap of thinking that even though a Christian will experience troubles, that sufferings will be deflected from him as water is deflected off a duck’s back. Rather, pray to experience how the intensity of the pain from the trial is dwarfed by the love of God being poured out into your heart.
Oh Friend, may our trials only cause us to run to God in prayer
