Good morning, this is Michael De Rosa and today I want to talk with you about is unity and my text is Psalm 133:1
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!
While unity is most refreshing, it doesn’t come about without energetically responding to God’s grace
Namely, it takes work when you put people together and start telling them that they are special because of God’s saving grace, for hearing about such specialness can quickly turn to Pridefulness when our attention is diverted from our unity in Christ.
So, while goodness and pleasantness is the blessed outcome , we must not miss our part, namely the work it takes to dwell with one another:
- to remain with one another when we don’t see eye to eye,
- to live next to our brothers and sisters when they have not offered us help in time of need,
- to go that extra mile with them when we already are feeling the weight exhaustion as we work and they just sit around.
So lean into His Grace, while working at discovering the enormity of the level ground at the foot of the cross for you and your brother
