Have your prayers ever been unanswered? Have you ever questioned ‘why not now, God’ when you prayed?
Well, then you are not alone and I hope that these next few moments will help you as much as they have helped others
The bible is very clear that we will get answers….as long as we ask in faith
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
While we may have little problem in articulating our concerns, we DO have problems with the receiving because we have this built in propensity to filter out every single attempt by God to answer our concerns IF it does not line up with our own preconceived ideas of what is good
For instance:
we ask God for money, and while He shows us a job, we balk, wanting the money NOW
We ask God for health, and find out that God allowed our kids got into the last twinkie in the house, leaving us with ‘nothing good to eat’, and we balk, not really wanting to begin to get healthy that soon or begin in that manner
Unanswered Prayer? Maybe we better call this unwelcomed answers.
