Good day, friends, this is Michael De Rosa and I will be beginning to preach through the book of Acts, one chapter each week. Today is Chapter 1
Each chapter, I believe, will be relevant to this day in which we live!
Chapter 1 sets forth the foundation of the book, namely proclaiming the need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
God’s mission for us is to bear witness to His good news and that CAN NOT be undertaken in our own strength. Thus trying to coral just how the Holy Spirit manifests Himself is akin to dabbling in Satan’s distractions.
Instead, dare simply to let God be God, and go out into your communities, onto Social Media sites, to your families and coworkers, and let them SEE the Gospel through Your actions and words as you walk in the Spirit
If God is all we need, then may He bring us, His children, together, Fundamentalists, Catholics, Charismatics, Wesleyans, Reformed.
But let us be mindful of this: the Holy Spirit will not play second fiddle to any of our theologies
