Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Since I retired last year, I have been struggling with my aging, which brings out a lot demons of insecurity.   And, yet, I become very much aware that I am not alone in it, namely, that while the Enemy of our souls seeks to bring me discouragement, the Savior of the World continually stops the  onslaught of negative thoughts by showing me that while all that I know is, indeed, passing away, His words, His love, His presence will never leave.

Now, sometimes this darkness gets more intense, but I continually find that in the most dark moments, just a pinhole of light, His Light, is more than enough to give me hope.

So remember, friends,  that while the things we struggle with are far more than what we see, that  the Hope that is given is far more than we could possibly expect.

Blessings on your day, friend.

“With God, your struggles WILL BE minimized!”
