am in Acts 25 and I want us to note the tenacity of evil in the face of the Christian witness
Paul told his accusers that he was even willing to die if the charges brought against him were true
Well, such charges were lies and when enough people believe a lie it can too easily appear as truth.
Friend, various push backs will happen as we share the Gospel message. And remember that even though God has the power to save, evil will go to the ends of the earth to keep people in bondage
It may cost us our lives; it may be uncomfortable to witness; we may loose good friends and our reputation. But the goal is NOT to see an of these things happen to us; rather the goal is to keep Christ first…regardless.
Each one of us has been given a sphere of influence where we need to stand firm and to share our faith as God leads. Don’t get ahead of God in this, but don’t lag behind either. Just be obedient, and let God be God.
