I am in Acts 26 and I want to talk about the importance of facing our sin-filled past as a means to stand firm as seen in Paul’s life right here
How comfortable are you to share your story of salvation? Do you dare to bring up your past deeds if they display God’s power in your redemption?
If not, this is a good time to consider how our embarrassments and guilt over our sins are only hinderances to God’s deeper healing in our lives to bring us to the place where we better experience laying our life down for Him.
This is, but, another cost of discipleship and yielding to the Spirit’s leading in this matter will only strengthen the witness that God has given you to reach others for Christ.
Thus as we stand more firmly on His Word and His actions in our life, the things of this world (in this case, our past sin-filled efforts), will become of little consequence to the character of Christ that God is building in us.
