Seeking God while He may be found

Good day, this is Michael De Rosa and I will look at Isaiah 55:6

Seek the Lord while He may be found:  Call upon Him while He is near

We talk, I think, so much of God’s mercy and patience, that we can fall into this idea that we can just go to God when we are ready and He will just be waiting for us. And while we know that God IS patient, He is patient in His time frame, not ours.

Thus, we  need to be aware of the many opportunities that our Lord gives us throughout the day to know Him; for… with each opportunity spurned, or dismissed, our hearts grow just a little bit less sensitive to God’s nudging us towards himself.  We are admonished to not look upon God’s grace towards us in vain.

So, dear friend,  I urge you today to Seek the Lord while He may still be found
