“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”
How transparent are we with our Heavenly Father? Are we too quick to pray for others’ need, while becoming uncomfortable to wrestle with our own concerns?
But…being honest with our thoughts and emotions before Almighty God will strengthen our faith because we have chosen to remove the facades from our life which will allow the Holy Spirit to do a deeper purifying work in us
Doesn’t it seem silly, though, how we believe that God is all knowing and yet we think that not talking with our Father about those concerns which weigh us down will some how just render them powerless?
So…while He will not force us to share, we will miss out on increased intimacy with Him who loves us so very much.
