“Cease striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
The definition of this word “know’ spans from a simple awareness to an intimate covenantal relationship.
And HERE we are reminded, AGAIN, that We. Can. Know. God. So how much do you really want to know God especially now with so much turbulence all around us!
Let me share some of my experiences.
It is not uncommon for me to become awe struck as I am faced with my problems and my unworthinesses in light of His profound love towards me in Christ.
Also, I am made aware that He. Is. Sovereign, such that nothing happens or will happen that is outside of His will.
And, lastly, a deep desire wells up within me to share God’s profound love with others, to let them know of the Inextinguishable Hope that is in Jesus Christ.
Did not Jesus tell us that if you see me you see the Father? So, look to Jesus and know God.
