And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Today, we are looking at the word Good as we continue to discover knowing God’s will.
Goodness here transcends our desires and perceptions of what our society has labeled good; rather it speaks of that which is inherently beneficial, pleasing, and aligned with God’s character. So, for example what seems unfair might just be unfulfilled desires that would be harmful for us if we engaged in them.
So, I would like to challenge us when we encounter any sort of problem and start asking that question“Why God is this happening?” while hoping that our desires be granted; I urge each on of us to NOT stop asking that question, but to do your best to listen to God’s response
Dear friend, let us remember that when God created man and the rest of creation and called it all good, that He still calls us to see and experience that goodness today
