I am in Acts 12. And, the main area we are exploring is God’s deliverance.
We read in this chapter both of our Lord’s delivering His child from the hands of evil men; and the deliverance of one an unrepentant sinner to his untimely demise
Friend, our Lord is still delivering today. For example, He delivers today His children from the throws of confusion; and sinners towards a downward spiral of corruption and confusion.
While it is not uncommon to hear from His Children’s lips ‘Lord, have your own way with me’; and ‘Lord, save the sinners’; God will deliver us both to the inclinations of our heart. Namely, if we choose to delight in the Lord, we find life.
Yet, if we choose to spurn God’s redemption, He will deliver us to that which has claimed our desire.
Friend, the freedom God has given us to choose is very powerful. So choose this day whom you will serve.
