Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
Why can’t we disagree agreeably? Why are we so quick to disrespect another person because their views are different than ours?
Unless you have had your head in the sand, you will notice the barrage of vile, backbiting comments on social media accounts: such folks are intent on proving their point… regardless of their political persuasions. Such things should not be…especially for Christians.
How much do we really need to pray for one another for if the church is not leading the way to show others how to be gracious while still declaring truth, those without Christ will see no other way to handle their speech than to lash out.
Too many are waiting for the other person to start this.
It must, though, start with us. It must start now.
