Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa and today let’s look at Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord;
And He will give you the desires of your heart.
God gave me the desires of my heart last week as I served families affected by disabilities.
What makes your heart sing? What would you do if money was not an issue or if you knew you could not fail?
God loves you so much and desires nothing less than to give you His Joy through what you do
Yet Christians have run into problems with this:
- by accepting the belief that finding fulfillment in work is only for certain individuals
- by thinking that their limited knowledge of life will suffice in discovering their callinf
- by equating God’s perfect will for themselves with how things worked out,
Let me tell you how I worked through my confusion to discover God’s call.
I began to delight in the God, understanding that He ALREADY had a plan for my life and that He wanted me to discover this with Him. This took me into some deep soul searching as I discovered more about God and about myself.
