Acts 24 and I want to continue addressing the importance of Standing Firm, but this time I want us to look at how others might just respond as we continue to hold our ground when witnessing
The truth will rile people up to a greater or lesser extent and you must be prepared for this. In this Chapter we note that the opposition Paul was up against did not deter him for sharing the Gospel and you will read that Paul cheerfully did so 9in v 10). This was not some sort of unrealistic optimism that Paul had, but it showed his confidence, and his readiness to talk Gospel
There was a joy set before him that was more real, more tangible than the dire circumstances he was in
Now I want you to hear something: this is the best time to be alive because it is the only time that we have been given to stand firm in God’s word so that others can know the power of his love and be saved from their sins.
So now walk in a manner that is pleasing to God
