I am in Acts 9. The theme today is a changed life
When God gets a hold of your life, your life should be marked by change:
The way you think, what you do, how you talk, where you go, who you gather around.
Now some will evidence a more outward change than others, but the litmus test is this: is Jesus Christ NOW Your Savior and Lord?
In this chapter, we read of Saul going from being a persecutor of the Christian church to a Proclaimer of Christ. And he was taken to task for this too…as we too will be.
And the simple reason for this is that the Gospel message is a stumbling block for sinners
Now, I am not suggesting that we purposefully annoy others or put ourselves in harms way. Rather: simply walk in the Spirit. God will guide you protect you…come what may. Remember that Jesus was not always in the midst of those who ridiculed Him! When He needed to be, though, He was.
And when you need to be in the midst of troublers, may you -like Jesus, and Paul, GO.
