Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thoughts.
There is a connection between how we live and how we think: futile thinking yields purposeless living.
And, Paul is giving us a sober warning: Stop living like the non Christian
My dear Christian brothers and sisters, we are reaping the ways of the world when our thoughts turn towards mediocrity in such things as acquiescing to societal standards of morality. And when such things happen, the church’s witness grows cold and society, then, has a right to call the church a good intentioned group of individuals.
For, at that point, we have lost His Power because we have turned from His Presence, choosing rather to walk as the World does
Friend, in Christ, we have been given every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, so live like a King’s Kid and set a habit of being gracious with fellow believers who are walking as the Gentiles do, calling them out of that bondage with gentleness and boldness.
