Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa. Today, let’s explore Revelation 22:12-13
12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
These verses ares sobering because they contrasts the quick return of our Lord with every day, routine, planned out, here-we-go-again life style
They also bring comfort because they convey to us that wherever we are, whatever we have done, and regardless of what our future holds, Jesus has been there and hemmed us in so that nothing touches without God’s permission.
- God understands – he is omniscient. He is there with us and understands the dynamics of the situation infinitely better than us
- God is forever present -he is omnipresent. Regardless of unexpected events, God is with us
- God takes care of us -He is omnipotent. Our questions as to why we suffer does not diminish God’s ability to bring forth His will in that very situation that confounds us.
